While gemstones with few or no inclusions are available, they can command extremely high prices. The best gemstone values usually include moderate inclusions of varying degree depending on the gemstone type. For example, ruby and emerald gemstones naturally have more inclusions within their structures, so moderate inclusions are acceptable and do not detract from their value, while blue topaz, aquamarine and citrine tend to have fewer naturally occurring inclusions, therefore fewer are acceptable.
